Friends,

The Q Cafe just released a promo video, and in the background is a live performance of “Cropper” from our last show there.

We’re finishing our tour this week, playing our final show at The Q Cafe with Adam Pasion, Lower Lights Burning and Tom Rorem. It starts at 7:30, and tickets are only $8. Come on out. It’ll be grand to see all your faces again after a long time away.

While on tour this past November, designer Paul Hoppe skillfully captured a performance of Freeze & Thaw and Trust, Love, Suffer, the double track opener from our new EP, at a church in Southern California. Trombonist Michael Porter, who was touring with us, joined us on stage.

Later that show, we sang with The Denouement and a group of California musicians for a rousing rendition of their song, Ocean Floor.

Tour Video by Ben Blood

Ben Blood filmed and made this video over the first two weeks of the tour. The song is “12 Minutes” by the Denouement, off of their album Low Tide.

Enjoy.

Here’s another video we filmed with Eric and Hollin in Portland. When we walked into the staircase and the reverb exploded, we were pretty excited. Enjoy watching this:

By Eric and Hollin Whedbee. We went down to Spokane and filmed a few takeaway shows with them. We’ll post another one next Sunday.

We had such an amazing time last friday! A big thank you to our horn players Michael Porter and Kale Lotton for bringing new energy and beauty to our songs. Thank you to our precious Clarinet player Jenn Thompson, and to our dear tour mates Noah and Abby Gundersen and Tom Rorem, the most energetic hand percussion player ever! (You’ve got passion, son!)
Thanks for coming, we can’t wait until our next Seattle show!

Oh, and thanks to Mike Young for the video!

Thanks to Matt Moses for the video!
