The New Year

Tommy and Patrick

Happy New Year, friends!

Looking back on the year, we’re very happy with what we’ve done. 2009 was our best year yet:

We spent a third of the year on the road, touring with Noah Gundersen & The Courage, Tom Rorem, The Denouement, and Seth Martin.

We released two albums: our full-length Let Us Reconcile, and our first vinyl EP, Freeze & Thaw. (Our New Albums)

We released plenty of Music Videos, recorded on friends albums (Noah Gundersen, Liddy Voetberg, Pete Stewart), and made a new website here at garagevoice.com.

Bruce

So what are our plans for the New Year?

First off, we’re playing at the Q Cafe this Saturday in Seattle with Tony Kevin Jr and Pablo Trucker. 8 pm, $8.

Later this winter we’re touring the west coast with one of our favorite musicians, Adam Pasion. We’ll be posting dates soon.

We’re releasing a new takeaway video on Wednesday.

And before, during and after all of this, we’re working on new songs. They’re our best songs yet. For now, we’ll keep playing the songs you know!

THANK YOU for all of your support this year. We couldn’t be doing this without you.

Garage Voice

FINALLY

brmc

We boys certainly enjoy the wonderful rock n’ roll of another 3 piece BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB. They have just released their first live DVD including the audio versions as well. I had the sweet opportunity of seeing em live a few yrs back and it royally rocked my face off. Since then I have eagerly been waiting for a live release to come from these gritty rock n’ roll boys. They’ve also put this out on vinyl….just like our new EP :D winky wink. SO if you already have our new EP, the most natural next step would be to get this new BRMC record! Jus sayin’. I’m off to get my rock on!

Print That Piece!

We are about a day from tour kick off! The road is calling and we come with The Denouement from SoCal. In preparing for this tour we’ve spiced up some songs, practiced some old stuff, and have new merch!

print that!

Today with the generous aid of Paper Astronomers Casey Luport, I tackled screen printing tote bags! Here’s a view of one side and the other side will have to be a surprise for ya’ll who come out to the show. These will ONLY be available at our shows during the tour. What is a tote bag, some might ask. It’s a bag perfect for carrying items for a picnic, a bag for several books and pens, a bag for farmers market, a bag for carrying GVs’ first vinyl of Freeze & Thaw with other sweet records you purchase :D

Listen to Freeze & Thaw

Thank you for listening to Freeze & Thaw. Starting this Saturday, come see us on our west coast tour and get your copy of the EP. Freeze & Thaw is available on CD, and soon to be on vinyl with a free mp3 download of the songs! Click here for tour dates!

freeze and thaw

If you’d like to purchase our new album right now, Freeze & Thaw is available for pre-order in our Store.

Our friends and future tour mates The Denouement have announced the tracklist of their new EP. We’re quite certain their new record will be remarkable. If you haven’t heard them yet, buy their album off iTunes, or hear their songs on their Myspace page.

Read their post here.

Tour starts Sat, Oct 24 at the Red Room in Kennewick, WA. We’ll have our new EP with us, too.

Flashpage

We are touring with these cats, starting Oct 24 at the Red Room in Kennewick. We’re going down the coast to California. Find out when we’re coming to your town here. We’re playing in WA, OR, CA, ID. More dates coming soon.

Also, we’re releasing this record on the tour. On Oct 20, stop by GarageVoice.com to stream the whole album. It will be on our site through the end of the day.

Karli Fairbanks produced it and sings. Michael and Kale guest on trombone and sax. Noah and Abby sing. Tommy plays acoustic, electric and ukulele, Patrick plays glockenspiel plenty, and I play the upright bass as much as the electric. In eight years of playing together, it’s the best thing we’ve done.
